QFP PANEL
Proto-Chip JR
QFP 0.5 mm

THIS BOARD IS ALMOST SOLD OUT, and will be redesigned later on this year. (8-2007) 11 left or less now.

QFP 0.5 mm pitch, 24 to 52 pin breadboard with Proto-Chip mini thru-Hole pads for wiring and discrete parts on front and back sides. Ground plane on back. Power and ground traces around board edge, vias to ground plane. Micro-pads for wiring or SOT23 type parts, 0603 or smaller!

Use it for 0.5 mm pitch parts that are NOT QFP, by trimming the traces out of the way on chip ends.

Put supporting circuitry on board.

Try using SMD headers, that have "L" shape bends at the end, or, the regular 0.1" thru-hole ones. Just tack one end on the pad/hole, then align the rest of them and solder the other end down, and give it a good bit of solder to hold it on the pad.

That will be your socket/board interface below the board, or the test/wire points on top side...
Or you can try using it for OTHER than 0.5 mm pitch (larger pitch part)SOIC's? fitted across the lead traces..Use 2-3 traces to make connections, and have traces left in between each lead of IC..? Cut it up to use for connectors? Reworking modules? What can you think of using it for?

Thank You!
