Proto-Chip n' DIP is an SMD and DIP Prototyping Circuit Board, so you can build more types of circuits using the Best of Both Worlds Technology.
DIP area is over 500 pins and holes. It has 9 different SMD parts. They include SOIC wide and narrow bodies wired to pads, SSOP wired to pads, and SC70-6, SOP32, TSOP32, SOT89, 143, 223 footprints on the board. You can add 0603-1210, SOT23 and other similar device packages to pads, and discretes if needed.
Board is 0.062", FR-4, 3.5" x 5". Ground plane on back and top around the DIP Pads. Power and Ground traces around the board, and can place chip caps or discrete caps on them for bypassing, along with the power supply wiring.
Build regulators and other supply circuitry on board. Add Micro's, controller chips, PIC's, eprom, memories, etc. Use what ever you desire on this board, except the fine pitch devices. QFP and others will be the later design, coming soon. This board fits the mainstream devices used in most designs.
